Our Team

Barry O’Sullivan is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon who works in Beaumont and Connolly Hospitals and privately in the Bon Secours Hospital and Blackrock Clinic Hospital. Barry has many leadership roles in the Irish health service. He is Clinical Director for Surgery in Beaumont Hospital and is Training Programme Director for the National Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery Training Scheme.

Barry has presented nationally and international on many topics within Plastic Surgery as well as publishing extensively. His master’s degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland studied the ‘Upregulation of Diabetic Wound Healing’.

Barry works with a focus on head & neck cancer reconstruction, the management of skin cancers (including malignant melanomas) and cosmetic surgery. His areas of interest include techniques of liposuction and fat grafting. He has been an ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) instructor for the last 20 years. Barry undertook Fellowships in Trauma and Microsurgical Reconstruction in Perth, Australia in 2011 and 2012. Barry is a member of the Irish Association of Plastic Surgeons.
