Prof. Nadeem Ajmal has his public appointment in Beaumont Hospital Dublin. He has admitting rights and operating privileges in Bons Secours Hospital and Hermitage Medical Clinic where he operates on private patients. He completed his Plastic Surgery training in Ireland. He has fellowships from Vandebilt University Medical Centre, Nashville Tennessee and Erasmus Medical Centre Rotterdam. He was appointed as Consultant Plastic Surgeon in Beaumont Hospital in 2006 with Sub Specialty interest in microsurgery. He pioneered Microsurgical Breast Reconstruction in Ireland and set up first service of its kind in Beaumont Hospital. He has preformed over a 1000 breast reconstruction procedures. He also commands vast experience in aesthetic breast surgery and has performed more than 2000 such procedures. Complex Breast Reconstructive and revision breast surgery procedures are referred to him from all over Ireland. He has also set up a Unit in Beaumont Hospital performing highly complex surgical procedures for post cancer lymphedema patients.

His other areas of interest include skin cancer surgery, Rhinoplasty and facial aesthetic surgery.

He is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training and is an Associate Professor with Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
